- Epic Dungeon Army Wars: Advanced
Probably the best strategy game to date. Did you hear that Axis and Allies? The pacing of the game with the 5 day wait period for the committee is actually one of its most engaging elements.
- Epic Dungeon Army Wars: Advanced
Do not underestimate the strategy involved in this game. It requires spatial thinking, planning multiple moves ahead, and anticipating your opponents. The key is balancing offense and defense.
- Blokus
This is a great game that combines simplicity, strategy, and low stress level. I find it to be a great alternative to Settlers when I don't feel like ruining a friendship or a marriage.
- Carcassonne
Words that describe this game: "advanced" maybe, another I'd say is "epic". It's Kind of a dungeon crawl but there's an army. I asked myself while playing: "too much or too little war?" I say both.

AMAZING!
- Epic Dungeon Army Wars: Advanced
Clearly a front-runner for Game of the Year. This truly deserves the name "Epic."
- Epic Dungeon Army Wars: Advanced
Quick to teach and understand, but not easily mastered. The short game length is a huge plus for me as well.
- 7 Wonders
I love with this game lately. Has a lot of depth in the choices you are making, but it is manageable to teach to beginners. Best parts are that 7 can play at a time and games only last 30 minutes.

Makes the base game Sooooooo much better. Must buy if you own Carcassone.
- Carcassonne: Traders & Builders
A quick and easy game- great for Harry Potter fans and wannabe wizards everywhere.
- Potion-Making Practice
I enjoy this game! It's a nice quick game that can be learned quickly, but can require some more skill/guesswork if you want to think about it. Included expansion gives it good replay value.
- Citadels
This is in my opinion the best board game created. With the variety that the expansions afford, I find it difficult to imagine ever tiring of the game. The game is not the ideal for socializing.
- The Settlers of Catan
Very simple and relaxed game. The game can be somewhat political, so be aware of that element. I have yet to play any of the expansion, but I do look forward to doing so.
- Carcassonne
It's like strategic Yahtzee. The power cards make for an interesting game. It still all comes down to dice rolls and luck, but if you're looking for a dice game you won't go wrong here.
- To Court the King
This is my first deck building game and I love it. The Magic influences show through in a good way. It starts to feel more luck based with 4 people, but playing with 2 or 3 is great!
- Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer
I am a huge fan of the deck-building genre- and if you are too, Ascention will not disappoint! A staple in my collection!

Jenga is a good simple game, fun to play with the family, or with drunk friends.
It's as casual as it gets, but a bit of fun every now and then.

Carcassonne is a fantastic game for a smallish group. Fairly easy to learn, but very difficult to master.
Many expansions available for further gameplay additions.
- Carcassonne
It's a great gateway game to get people into the board game world. It doesn't take too long to play and it's a blast. I love the way the different roles change the feel of the game from turn to turn.
