This game is one of my favorite go to games. It took a little time to learn all the ins and outs, but once you learn, it is a very fun time!
- Stone Age
Extremely fun game, but unforgiving if you make the slightest of error. Replayability is endless, and the game is thick with strategy. Highly recommended.
- Food Chain Magnate
I am a huge fan of Eric Lang's games, and Blood Rage is no exception. Love the theme. Combat is great. Miniatures are beautiful. Great game!
- Blood Rage
This game is always a blast when it hits the table! Similar to Blood Rage, but different enough to be unique, Rising Sun has quickly rose to my top 5 fav games.
- Rising Sun
Ankh has not been released at the time of this review, but I am a huge fan of Eric Lang and CMON games. I can't wait to play it!

Love the unique combat mechanic! Exploring Tolkien's world is fun via app. Would recommend!
- Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle Earth
Very unique concept for a game, and Stonemair components are always the best. Great game!
- Wingspan
I've enjoyed Outer Rim as a solo and 2-player game. More than 2 players will definitely increase game time. Reminds me a lot of Firefly: the game, which is great!
- Star Wars: Outer Rim
Great campaign, and unique ways to integrate hidden components revealed through story. Love it!
- Gloomhaven
I love the asymmetrical aspect of this game, and Leder Gmaes has become the king of asymmetrical games. I enjoy playing the other races, and discovering all the different intricacies within.
- Root
This has been my favorite game since it came out in 2016! There is endless playability, and tense moments when playing.
- Scythe
Regularly sees my game table! This game has quickly become one of my all time favorite games.
- Terraforming Mars
Great game. Can get kind of intense depending on who you play with. Negotiation is key.
Definitely recommend expansions for replay value!
- The Settlers of Catan
I liked the similarity to Catan in the resource management, and the overall theme of the game is fun. Sometimes the games ends up feeling "unfair" for those that get left behind early on.
- Machi Koro
I enjoyed playing this short and simple game. It used a lot of mechanics I was already familiar with, and the format was easy to catch on to. I came in last place, but I still came away liking it.
- Century: Spice Road
A easy to learn game. Lacks some long lasting replay ability.
- Ticket To Ride
The game that brought me into a new world of board games. Still a classic favorite. But we've added various expansions to inhance game play (i.e. Fish from Traders and Barbarians).
- The Settlers of Catan
Great for bring the young and old generations together (I.e. Family reunions)
- Sequence
If your a word nut and a good speller, this game is for you. I've seen people who win by: playing big words, playing lots of small words, and even a blind man win (Braille tiles).
- Scrabble
Only played one scenario. Great team game, but lots of rules and lots of decisions to be made every turn. Loved the game play, but wish it was simpler and quicker. Even board setup time is long.
- Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island
