This is a great expansion, I love the inns adding value to certain roads, and the risk/sabotage factor added with the cathedral pieces, but can be frustrating for those that already hate losing cities
- Carcassonne: Inns & Cathedrals
A good enough game, but better played as a kid I think. Or with kids. I used to like this years ago in school, but now prefer more complex games so haven't played this in ages.

I did like this game, especially the coop play and the 1 player option. However none of my friends liked it, too complex/games were too long, so I got rid of it. Good if you have people to play with.
- Arkham Horror
Simple game, roll the dice, each round you pick which "set" you get points for. Gamble on the bigger sets or get stuck with zero points that round. Lots of luck, mixed with a little risk taking.
- Yahtzee
Another classic card game, very easy to learn and play. Great for getting kids started with games as the cards are played using colors, numbers, and the few action cards are easy to figure out.
- Uno
Decent game, requires quick thinking. Not my favorite type of game, but a good one for those with groups of people that don't like "strategy" type board games and would rather play "fun" type games.
- Scattergories
Great group party game, very cleverly made. Lots of fun, can end up with everyone on the floor laughing often. After playing a few times, remembering repeated cards make game too easy, but still fun
- Mad Gab
An old classic, trick taking card game. One of the first games I learned as a child with my family and remember wanting to play again, simple enough to teach kids and fun enough to play too!
- Rook
Great party game, lots of fun and laughs. Must be willing to be creative and think like your friends, worth getting for a group game night!
- Cranium
I did have fun for a while, but towards the end of the game I was actually quite offended by a few of the cards. Definitely an "adult" game, NOT FOR KIDS, but can be fun with the right group of people
- Cards Against Humanity
I used to really love this game, but the "luck" involved in dice rolling can be very frustrating, and I have found other war/conquest type games that I have much more fun playing.
- Risk
Fun War/Territory conquest game! I love the variety provided by the random matching of races/special powers, and the chance to quit a race and pick a whole new one adds a nice level of strategy.
- Small World
Great resource/building strategy game! The game mechanic of each player choosing a role that determines what all players do each turn keeps you engaged and thinking, with minimal luck involved.
- Puerto Rico
This is a decent game, good for those that don't like "competitive" games since everyone plays against the board. It's an easier version of Pandemic with a different theme, but it was still fun.
- Forbidden Island
Great game, simultaneous card playing keeps games moving, can finish in less than 30 minutes. nice break from the long 1-2 hr games, and still enough strategy for my tastes.

A fun dice rolling game, very simple to learn, and a good game for kids. This was one of my favorites growing up, and still is fun for a quick game.
- Farkle
Very difficult game in my experience. I love the co-op gameplay (all play against the board). Emphasis on working together before each player takes their turn make this a very unique game. 2 Thumbs up
- Pandemic
I enjoy this game, the strategy involved pre-game in choosing your routes, along with constantly trying to balance drawing cards with claiming routes before others makes for a competitive, fun game.
